Voice Lessons

The following information is for students enrolled in Private Voice Lessons:

Thank you for signing up for Private Voice Lessons - we are so pumped to work with you! Please read the following information carefully and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Video Call
All lessons will take place via your preferred method of video call (Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, etc...). Your instructor will contact you at the number you provided prior to your first lesson to make introductions, ensure things are set up, and answer any questions you may have.
Please prepare your student with sheet music and a minus track to a song they would like to sing/work on for their first lesson. After the first week, the student and instructor will coordinate concerning what music they will be working on throughout the semester.
Instructor Communication
Abby Welch & Alelxa Brian are our incredible voice instructors! Please reach out to Abby or Alexa directly to communicate about lesson details (what sheet music to have ready, running late, missing a lesson, scheduling make ups, etc...). Here are their contact info:
Missed Lessons
If you ever need to miss a lesson for any reason, please let your instructor know ASAP (at least 24 hours in advance). Missed lessons without proper notice will not be eligible for "make-ups".
Make Up Lessons
Students are expect to attend lessons during their scheduled time slot. Because of our instructors’ limited availability and tight scheduling, we will not be able to shift lesson times around from week to week. We do understand that conflicts happen occasionally and want to offer some solution in these cases.

Students will be allowed one “make-up lesson” per two months for any lesson missed with proper notice given. You can schedule these make up lessons by coordinating with your instructor.
Parent Attendance Policy
In our experience, lessons are most affective in a one-on-one setting, without parents or siblings present/listening in. We encourage students to find a private space to conduct their lessons where distractions are limited and they feel comfortable singing full-voice. If you have any special circumstances or concerns, please let us know so we can best assist you.

Thank you!
